By integrating these resonators, vibration amplitudes excited by airborne or structure-borne sound can be significantly reduced. Large portions of the kinetic energy &#8211; up to 90% for self-excitation and up to 70% for forced excitation &#8211; are inaudibly converted into heat by the resonators.
